Homeowners witnessed large ice chunks reaching sizes of 7cm in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that various areas across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.

Victorian Weather Woes

Emergency response teams responded to nearly 600 requests for assistance across the region, mostly for structural issues but also for fallen timber and inundation.
